I saw this while I was browsing this morning; in a nutshell it is how any situation can be looked at except for the most positive… I just thought it was very clear and direct.
Good: Your wife is pregnant.
Bad: It’s triplets.
Ugly: You had a vasectomy five years ago.
In other words, if you are in the “good” of your situation be happy you are not in the ugly.

I recently saw this in an email, the person is Regina Brett. She said several things, but this line really hit me right between the eyes.
“It is never too late to be happy, but it is all up to you and no one else.”
Do you believe this lesson she learned over her life?
Do you let other people determine your happiness?
Do you even realize it when you do let other people determine your happiness?
I believe this to be true. I also believe that Beth’s happiness is completely in Beth’s control because I am responsible for myself, and I decide who, what, where, and why I am going to act.
Another long night staring at the computer trying to figure out what Amazon wants for their Kindle formatting…
We have it looking nice now as of this morning, but the artwork within the book is omitted. We have no idea why this is the case, but that is how it is this time.
I just have to laugh at how bumpy this road has been trying to simply publish on Kindle. They make it sound so easy and like all you do is click 3 times and poof! It is all together. That is so not the case.
We are going to do things a pinch differently for the next volume.
Thank you again for your patience. Kindle should update the format to you in a couple of days if you downloaded it prior to, well, now. If they do not please delete it out of your library and download it again so that you have the correct format.
I am beyond frustrated, but I have to remember, (as if I could forget), that when it comes to using these kinds of things on the computer for me, there is always a learning curve and never an easy solution, or just a click!
In my state of stress I went looking for some humor, and oh my how it eased my burden, made me smile, and grounded me into remembering that my state of emotional hyjacking is completely in my control.
